Frequently asked questions
Open the app, choose Sign up, and register with your email and a password. You can then set your name, home course, and handicap in your profile.
Tap the ＋ Create button to post a tee time — pick a course, date, time, and number of open spots. To join someone else's, open a tee time in the Events feed and tap Reserve a spot.
Log your rounds (hole-by-hole) and Foreplay estimates an index using standard score-differential math. It's an estimate for casual play, not an official USGA Handicap Index.
Go to the Friends area, search for a golfer by name, and send a request. Once they accept, you can share friends-only tee times and posts.
On the login screen, use the password-reset option, or email us and we'll help you regain access.
In the app, go to your profile (the "Me" tab), scroll to the bottom, and tap Delete my account. You'll be asked to confirm. This permanently deletes your account and all of your data — profile, tee times, rounds and handicap, posts, friends, messages, and scores. This cannot be undone. If you need help, email us at the address above.
Foreplay can send you local reminders for upcoming tee times. You can turn notifications on or off in your device's Settings.
Privacy
See our Privacy Policy for how your information is collected, used, and protected. Your phone number is private by default and only shared if you choose to make it public.
